Welcome to the South
Palm Beach County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority’s
website. We are so glad you’re taking the time to research our
rich history. The members of this chapter are a group of strong
determined and spiritually minded women.
During the last twenty
years our focus has remained the same. We are dedicated to
educational programs, scholarship initiatives and are advocates
for the citizens of our community.
We are one of two
chapters located in Southern Palm Beach County, with the other
being Xi-Epsilon. Xi-Epsilon is a collegiate chapter located on
the campus of Florida Atlantic University, in Boca Raton Florida.
ABOUT US
The Ladies of the South
Palm Beach County Alumnae are committed to the fundamental
principles of our Sororities. We strive to provide Educational
awareness, Political awareness and Physical and Mental Health
involvement through various programs supported by our Chapter. We
are involved with educating our young people through the Delta
Gems; enlightening and funding students with our Senior Girls
Breakfast and scholarships awarded each year. The community
benefits with our “Get Out the Vote” campaigns and voter education
drives.
This
chapter believes in helping those who cannot help themselves. Our
participation in Habitat for Humanity supports the Grand Chapters’
initiative of home ownership. The donation of Thanksgiving and
Christmas Baskets to families during the Holiday Season provides
us an opportunity to reach out and show that caring and giving
spirit.
